Before we hit the core of Lynch's book One up on Wall Street tomorrow, a short discussion on where to find stocks to research within your own circle of competence, somewhere you have an edge. Lynch is all about finding great businesses before Wall Street does and for that we need to have our eyes open.

Tomorrow we will be about categorizing your ideas into: slow growers, stalwarts, fast growers, turnarounds, asset plays and cyclicals.
