Last year in January I wrote the below chapter on cash titled Cash is Trash. That was before the whole COVID situation and extreme monetary and fiscal reactions that followed (read: money printing). What happened over the last 12 months just emphasized the weaknesses of cash as an investment asset class in the current environment. 

However, I know that many of you are still sitting on cash. If you have some short-term goal, that is ok. But if you have no immediate goal, you might think about other alternatives. In the following video I discuss the outlook for cash going forward and also give you an overview of alternative asset classes like stocks, index funds, bonds, real estate and other going into 2021.
